History: Mother invalidated by arthritis, father suffering from skin rashes, and TS starting to experience stiff joints after second childbirth. Stress in the family (sick husband) and at work started psoriatic arthritis at the age of 38, alternating between heavy skin problems and extreme pain in joints and back. This patient has taken a long time to start taking care of herself since the family always comes first. After lots of painkillers and sleepless nights, she turned really sick before she chose to start an alternative approach.
We started basic treatment of the psoriatic arthritis with nutritional supplements and supportive herbs in order to cleanse the organs and increase the excretion of waste products. Then we started the PEA, both capsules, and cream, and the effect came very quickly, both on joints and skin. It has been amazing for TS to feel the soothing effect of the cream and to get her soft skin texture back again. She has to use the cream several times every day, but since she changed to the Liposomal PEA, she only needs 3 to 4 ml once a day to keep the joint free of pain and getting rid of the stiffness.
Since she has lived as an ecological vegetarian for many years, her diet is very fine – but still she prefers to add supplements such as antioxidants in order to prevent free radicals and herbs to support the digestive system. She also remembers to get sufficient amount of liquid every day for the kidneys to function, and to drink in between meals, in order not to disturb the digestive process by diluting the amino acids and enzymes during the meals, where we should either not drink anything at all or only take liquid that has been fermented (wine, beer or cider) which is not disturbing the metabolism but rather supporting it.
It is very positive to see a person with a very heavy hereditary tendency to autoimmunity totally free of symptoms if she is taking good care of her diet and supplements and preventing the inflammatory reactions with PEA.
